Intimacy” for couples to learn communication, resolve conflicts, and
rediscover the meaning of their life together. For couples, I also
offer weekend workshops. My approach uses a variety of methods in
psychology including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal,
existential, and hypnotherapy. My work deals with common concerns
such as stress reduction, relationship problems and conflicts, losses,
and changes, depression counseling, bipolar mood, anxiety counseling,
panic disorders, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addictions,
chemical dependency and drug abuse, spirituality and faith issues, and
life transitions--career, education, or loss. I work with children
and parents on behavior problems, anger problems, school problems,
family conflict, communication problems, and ADHD. I have focused
on providing counseling for diverse populations and in counseling
lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals and those who are questioning
their own gender identity. I am an in-network provider with the following
insurance companies: Aetna, First Choice, Regence BlueShield, Premera
Blue Cross, Uniform Medical Plan and Wellspring.
