Washington Mental Health Counselors Association is the professional organization working exclusively to meet the needs of Licensed Mental Health Counselors in Washington State. WMHCA is chartered through the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA), our national professional organization.

Washington Professional Counselors Association. In September 2006, registered counselors began meeting and organizing in order to respond to the proposed legislation intended to eliminate registered counselors in Washington State. They incorporated, hired a lobbyist, and managed to defeat the bill in 2007.

Washington Protection and Advocacy System is a private, non-profit organization (services are free) that has been protecting the rights of people with disabilities in the state of Washington since 1972. Every state and territory of the United States has a similar organization, designated to provide independent protection and advocacy services to eligible people.

Washington State Association of Drug Court Professionals Drug courts work with persons who are being charged with felony drug offenses and give them the opportunity to participate in treatment as an alternative to jail time.

Washington State Association of Independent Outpatient Providers, a professional organization for Washington state approved outpatient chemical dependency treatment providers.

a membership organization with a dual mission of enhancing the profession of social work and promoting diversity, inclusion and social justice.

Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence offers a broad range of information: Are you abusing?, DV victims & survivors, teens and dating violence, "get help in your state (a US directory), info for kids and service providers, and what you can do to help.
