Gretchen Smith, MA, LMFTA
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
(253) 370-9713
12515 Meridian Ave. E., Suite #203, Puyallup, WA 98373
Niche Specialty©: Addictions of all kinds. My specialties included eating disorders counseling, alcohol and drug abuse counseling, addictive behavior counseling, thought disorder counseling, and obsession counseling.  I also enjoy couples counseling, marriage counseling, relationship counseling, working with teens, and family counseling, including those with blended family issues.
Location: Located in a professional office building at 125th and Meridian, across from Arby's restaurant. My office is within South Hill Family Counseling, on the second floor.
General Practice Area: Profound healing can be found in relationship with God, and His Word contains the "prescription" for living life in a free, fulfilling, and purposeful way. For this reason, I provide education, consultation, support, and counseling services from a Christ-centered, Biblical perspective. Couples, families, and individuals of all ages are welcome. Together we will seek comfort, healing, direction, and wisdom for your situation. I will treat you with dignity and respect regardless of your religious affiliation or lack thereof. There is hope for the mature Christian, the new believer, those who are curious, discouraged, lost, or mad at God, and everyone in between! My passions include health, nutrition, weight management, and helping others overcome eating disorders, substance abuse, and other addictions. I also work with resolving relationship/family issues (including blended families), and individual emotional, social, behavioral, and spiritual challenges in life. Currently I am pursuing education and training to help individuals and loved ones struggling with gender identity confusion and unwanted same-sex attraction. Phone and email counseling is available in addition to face-to-face sessions.

Stewart Counseling Services
Steven Stewart MA  LMHC, LMFT
Licensed Mental Health Counselor , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
(503) 936-1508
15406 Meridian Ave E, Puyallup, WA 98375
Niche Specialty©: Anger, Resentment, Hostility. -- These are often fueled by fears ... often by the pain of repeated frustrations or unfair treatment. Surprisingly, anger isn't necessarily the problem. Instead it might be what we do to regain control of our lives: abusing or controlling others, depression, denial, avoiding conflicts. These problems tend to get worse over time. If you can't break these cycles, it's a good time to find someone who can help. Anger mismanaged can wreck lives, but skillfully managed, it can improve lives. You can have hope again. You can live courageously. Email me (that's best) or call me to see when we can get started.
General Practice Area: Marriage problems -- Ugh! We humans hurt each other, but we also help each other heal. Within close relationships we can produce our deepest hurts and greatest joys. I help people recover from these wounds. I help people heal their relationships with themselves, their intimate partners, their families, and those other inevitable relationships we encounter through life. With 24 years of counseling experiences, I focus on very difficult personal and marital problems--rebuilding hope and making good decisions after traumatic violations or unwelcomed circumstances. My specialties include recovery from affairs, betrayals, and other forms of abuse (whether the victim or the abuser, or both). Much of the work involves working through such hard experiences as anger, rage, shame, and guilt into more desireable exeperiences of hope, courage, and a sense of personal value and purpose in life. Email me (that's best) or call me to see when we can get started.[ Email Steven Stewart ] [ Go to counselor - therapist website ]
