General Practice Area: I provide therapy for recovery from the mental and emotional problems that can develop in the wake of trauma, both "T" traumas, such as childhood psychological, physical, and/or sexual abuse, assault, sexual assault, accidents, disasters, crime, and war, that may result in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as so-called "t" traumas like divorce, job loss, relationship losses, chronic illness and/or pain, grief and attachment wounds that result in or exacerbate conditions like depression and anxiety.
I work from a foundation of personal and family history to clarify how present patterns have been established and continued. I use the wisdom found in several different ways of thinking about people and how we change. My work is client centered, tailored to the need of the client or clients and include emotionally focused work, EMDR and Lifespan Integration.
