I also work with a wide range of concerns, and problematic or painful life transitions such as: depression, anxiety, relationship crises, family problems, tension and stress, "feeling stuck" in sadness or frustration, low self-esteem, hopelessness, insomnia, panic attacks, grief, co-dependency and addictions. For 35 years, more than 20 of which in Stockholm, Sweden, and the past 12 years in the U.S., I have had the privilege to be in a profession I love.
I synthesize aspects from many trauma therapy methods, such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and Emotion Focused/Process-Experiential Therapy, and Ego State Therapy, to help my clients healing their wounds, and restoring their whole true self. Helping my clients to become aware of their strengths and resources, believing they can heal, acquiring new coping skills, and through therapy clearing traumatic, disturbing, and painful experiences are my ultimate professional goals.
