brought you together. Understanding how relationships mature, learning skills, & learning how to apply old skills in new
situations helps keep the relationship alive, positive, & growing. General Practice Area: Couples, marriage,

Renewment Counseling
Christopher Franklin, MS, LMFTA (253) 350-3508 Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate 815 E. Main St, Suite #11, Auburn, WA 98002 Niche Specialty©: Sexuality or Sexual Intimacy Issues (also Sexual Abuse or Sex Addiction). I work primarily with clients that struggle with sexually compulsive behaviors. My approach is designed to help clients escape the shame that feeds addictions. I also work with the spouses or partners of individuals with sexual addictions, since this is critical to the recovery process. I offer services through individual and family therapy, as well as through group therapy and education specifically designed to treat unhealthy sexual behavior. I am affiliated with LifeSTAR Network Washington, which is recognized in various states for the effective treatment of sexually compulsive behaviors.
If you or someone you know struggle with sexual addiction or related issues, I want you to know that recovery is possible. I can help you understand addiction and show you the path to recovery. More importantly, as you work through this process, you will find more fulfillment and emotional rewards than you have experienced previously in your life. Location: Located within an office building on Main St. General Practice Area: My passion is to help you become your best and most authentic self. Self worth is unconditional and I help clients to stop using external measures for self worth. This frees clients to look at the consequences of their behaviors, instead of getting caught in toxic shame and depression. Your life will take on new direction and renewed passion when your self worth is intact and you feel free to be your authentic self.
I have training as a Marriage and Family therapist, and am experienced helping families and individuals with a variety of issues within the dynamics that occur in family systems. My main focus is helping clients find relief from shame, poor self-worth, and loss of self-respect that comes from behaviors, especially sexual compulsions. All individuals have worth and much dysfunction and addiction comes from faulty core beliefs about identity and relationships. My goal is to help people learn to find healthy and productive motivation to overcome discouraging issues. [ Email Christopher Franklin ] [ Go to counselor - therapist website ]
