    Outdoor Sports --Greater Seattle Area   Explore the many bike paths in Seattle (the 12.1 mile Burke-Gilman trail along Lake Union and Lake Washington, the 2.8 mile path around Green Lake, and the Dexter Avenue bike lane that runs up to and across the Fremont Bridge, etc.  Other activities--hiking, skiing, swimming, boating, fishing and hunting.

    The Seattle Underground Tour:  Starting with a seated introduction inside Doc Maynard’s Public House, a restored 1890s saloon, Bill Speidel's Underground Tour is a leisurely, guided walking tour the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle.

    The Experience Music Project (EMP) at Seattle Center:  The EMP (Experience Music Project) is an interactive music museum located in Seattle, Washington. There is also a Jimmy Hendrix Museum, the JBL Theater, a Digital Lab and much more. Tickets are required for many of the activities. However, the Turntable Restaurant, Liquid Lounge, and EMP Store are open to the public and do not require paid admission to EMP. EMP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

    Fun for Seattle Newcomers  Women's social group for greater Seattle, King County Washington newcomers.  The Newcomers Club of Greater Seattle meets in different parts of the city and surrounding towns to help newcomers become acquainted with the diversity of the area. The club has monthly luncheons and several special-interest subgroups. Luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of the month and include a program of interest to our members.
