This CounselingSeattle.com web site is committed to honoring
the privacy of its visitors. The following summarizes our information gathering and dissemination practices.
We do not collect any personal information about our visitors. We do not sell any products on line and have no reason to
collect financial information.
We do not sell, trade, exchange or otherwise make available any personally identifiable
information to any other company or organization.
In July 2006, we are setting up an
opt-in list-serve email service for those who wish to be included
in our periodic newsletters titled
"Mental Health Issues Around Puget Sound," using a respected company, ListCast.com. The newsletter is intended to serve CounselingSeattle.com advertisers and other
persons interested in the website or in new developments in the
mental health or addictions fields. Subscribers will only receive these
occasional emails only by "Op-In" and
completing an op-in form.
Each message will include information about opting out or
unsubscribing, should a subscriber wish to do so at any time.
Other than this op-in email newsletter and our counselors and other
advertisers, we do not collect or retain email addresses. We will not send you
unsolicited information, commercial offers, or
advertisements.
CounselingSeattle.com participates in the www.Google.com/analytics
program which counts unique (first-time)
visitors to our site. Your identity is not
recorded, but when you revisit the site, the software knows
this is someone who has been here before--and counts them as a
visitor, but not as a unique visitor.
CounselingSeattle.com
also subscribes to a website ranking service called
Quantcast that
offers a cookie to site visitors and uses information to
rank websites around the world.
This site contains several thousand links to many
external sites. Links are provided to help visitors find information.
While we monitor for broken links each week, we have no
way to know if link addresses change hands. If a
link leads you somewhere you shouldn't be going,
please let us know so we can
change it. Using the
links to visit other sites is done at the option of the visitor. CounselingSeattle.com cannot be responsible for the privacy practices
or the content of such Web sites.
